Scott Barry Painting is proud to be Buffalo New York's ONLY official FLOR designer and authorized seller.

FLOR's taking modular rug tiles well out of the realm of commercial applications and placing them squarely in the center of the well-designed home. If the idea of a modular rug seems a little odd at first, as it admittedly did to us, then consider the possibilities. It means endless designs, styles and, our favorite, customization. These along with the ability to pick up a dirty tile and wash it in the sink or replace it altogether.
But these pluses, discussed in the PURE CONTEMPORARY interview with FLOR's creative director, Laura Guido-Clark in December, are just the beginning of the design problems FLOR can help solve.
FLOR comes in a variety of colors, textures, patterns and pile lengths. They have commercially graded tiles perfect for mud rooms, porches, even garages. The fun and funky colors make them a no-brainer for children’s rooms, playrooms and nurseries. But FLOR also makes plush and luxurious tiles meant for the swankiest of sitting and dining rooms.
Scott Barry Painting suggests FLOR for use in apartments, where refinishing or replacing hardwood may be too expensive, and a wall to wall installation might need constant replacement. Users of FLOR just replace the dirty tiles, spending as little as $3 for a square foot. It's also a great option for kitchens. We've had clients who want tile but are planning on rehabing the kitchen within the next couple of years. With a whole new configuration coming, investing in tiles now would be wasted. They chose FLOR as a "stopgap" between now and then, just to cover the nasty linoleum underfoot. When they do redesign the kitchen, they'll be able to easily remove the FLOR tiles and put them anywhere else they wish.
